Building Ki

Can recently gave me a lot to think about regarding the building of Ki. Mark N. then brought back and demonstrated some basic Ki exercises from the teaching seminar. I'm making a commitment to practice these techniques often over the next year until I can form a good habit. Hopefully by then I will also have begun to learn how to do them correctly. I'm hoping these baby steps will open the door towards something that I really don't know much about.

NE Regional Instrutor's Seminar

I attended the AAA Northeast Regional Instructor's Seminar hosted by Rockland Aikido of Nanuet, NY. Sensei's Glen Matusda and Frank Gallo led the instruction which focused on the use of Aiki-taiso in the Kihon-waza forms. The AAA, under the direction of Steven Toyoda Sensei is trying hard to establish a set of standards for students of all levels.
